This lovely 64-year-old patient first met Dr. Li 10 years ago after her breast cancer treatment, which included lumpectomy, mastectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation. Due to complications from her mastectomy, life circumstances and COVID, her reconstruction was delayed for many years.

She was grateful to reconnect with Dr. Li at LA Breast and Body a decade later to complete her journey. She underwent reconstruction with an overnight hospital stay and is very happy with her results—restoring a natural breast shape and improved symmetry, and helping her feel whole again.
