Katelyn Ma is a compassionate and dedicated medical assistant at LA Breast and Body, known for her warm demeanor, professionalism, and thoughtful approach to patient care. Whether assisting in the clinic or guiding patients through pre- and post-operative visits, Katelyn brings a calm, reassuring presence that helps individuals feel truly cared for and supported.
She has worked across a range of medical settings—including OB/GYN and neurosurgery—where she developed a strong foundation in clinical operations and patient communication. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Katelyn is especially skilled at creating a welcoming environment for diverse patient populations, ensuring everyone feels heard, respected, and understood.
Katelyn is currently pursuing her Associate’s degree in Biological Sciences at a local community college and ultimately is planning a career as a physician. Her passion for service extends beyond the clinic. Katelyn has volunteered over 300 hours at USC Arcadia Hospital, where she led volunteer teams, supported blood drives, and helped patients and families with empathy and grace. She is also an active mentor in her school’s pre-health community, known for encouraging and supporting fellow aspiring healthcare professionals.
In her free time, Katelyn enjoys playing the violin, spending time with her family and dogs, and organizing meaningful get-togethers with friends. Her genuine kindness, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills make her a valued and trusted member of the LA Breast and Body team.

Traci Young, MSN, NP-C, RNFA
Nurse Practitioner | Paramedical Tattoo Specialist
With over 24 years of experience as a board-certified nurse practitioner, Traci Young is a deeply compassionate and highly skilled clinician, devoted to guiding patients through every stage of their healing journey. Her career began in medical oncology, where she spent more than a decade delivering personalized, empathetic care to individuals facing cancer diagnoses.
In 2012, Traci transitioned into the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery, where she has worked closely alongside Dr. Wai-Yee Li for over a decade. Her role is pivotal in ensuring continuity of care—supporting patients from their first consultation through surgery and into recovery. As a certified Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA), Traci is a trusted presence in the operating room. Her experience offers patients a rare, full-circle understanding of the surgical and recovery process.
Traci earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern California and a Master of Science in Nursing from UCLA. Her clinical expertise spans advanced post-operative care, drain management, tissue expansion, and complex wound care.
Beyond the clinical setting, Traci is also a highly skilled paramedical tattoo artist—a specialty she has cultivated for more than 10 years. She provides 3D nipple-areolar tattooing and scar camouflage for patients recovering from breast reconstruction and other body-altering procedures. Drawing on her surgical knowledge and precise technique, Traci offers not only exceptional aesthetic results but also a deeply restorative experience for her patients. Her medical background gives her a nuanced understanding of anatomy, healing, and safety—setting her apart from non-clinical tattoo practitioners.
Outside of her professional life, Traci lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two teenagers—a son and a daughter—and their beloved dogs and cats. She is an avid traveler who finds joy in discovering new cultures and cuisines. Known for her creativity and organizational flair, she is the go-to party planner among her friends and family. Traci also volunteers actively at her children’s schools, supporting various sports teams including volleyball and basketball. In her downtime, she unwinds with her favorite K-dramas, drawn to their rich storytelling and cultural depth.
